Promoting Safety, Preservation, Education and Opportunities in the South Carolina Paddlesports Industry — The South Carolina Paddlesports Industry Association promotes kayaking, canoeing, and rafting outfitters as well as retailers, clubs, non-profits and tourism entities involved in the paddlesports industry.

Whether you're looking to purchase a kayak or canoe, to take a class or tour, or to rent a boat, this complete list of businesses will help you choose. The SCPIA is here to promote paddlesports in South Carolina and encompasses all of the many different tourism regions in our state.

2012 Annual SCNBTA/SCPIA Conference

The 2012 SCNBTA/SCPIA conference will be held at the Sea View Inn on Pawleys Island on March 13 & 14. The Sea View Inn is located oceanfront with the marsh directly behind. This historical Inn has been welcoming guests to it tranquil setting since 1937 and offers three meals a day, family style, has a huge front porch with rocking chairs and hammock, and a large living room overlooking the ocean. The conference schedule will include several speakers, field trips, and entertainment on Tuesday evening.
